Using professional titles on wedding invitations

How should I approach professional titles on my wedding invitation?

Simple Answer: A professional title should not be used with Mr., Mrs., or Ms. If you use a bride’s professional title, her last name should be used as well. Also, if more than one person has a professional title, you should use everyone’s titles.

For Example:
Dr. Michelle Wright and Timothy Wright
and
Mr. John Monroe
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Elizabeth Ann Monroe
to
Kevin Charles Black, Esq.
son of
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Black

How to address some titles you may encounter:
Lawyer
Michelle Wright, Esq.
Doctor
Dr. Michelle Wright
Judge
The Honorable Michelle Wright
Clergyperson
The Reverend Michelle Wright (Christian)
Father John Monroe (Catholic)
Rabbi Michelle Wright (Jewish)
Military
Captain (Commander or Major) John Monroe
